The design can be connected to photovoltaic (PV) panels or 48V battery energy storage systems (BESS), providing an efficient and flexible energy management solution. From battery charging and discharging to the final inverter, the efficiency of each stage can be achieved more than 98%, and TI's new products have achieved more than 99% at the level of MPPT and inverter. With a powerful master processor, the C2000 has a wide range of applications in the field of motor control, including accurate ADC sampling, powerful PWM control, ideal for power supply and motor control.
In addition to the bidirectional micro inverter, we also see TI launched a high-power composite inverter based on the whole house photovoltaic panel, this product is based on GaN 7.2KW series hybrid inverter, it can be charged from the grid to the battery, but also can realize the battery to the grid power supply, the whole process is connected to one end of the photovoltaic panel, one end of the battery, and one end of the grid. Thus, the energy of the entire photovoltaic panel, the capacity of the battery and the energy of the grid can be organically combined, and the lowest cost of household electricity can be created through real-time control.
Infineon introduces a new generation of silicon carbide technology, CoolSiCTM MOSFET Gen2 technology, which improves key MOSFET performance metrics such as energy and charge storage by 20% compared to the previous generation, significantly improving overall energy efficiency. Evaluation boards for 1200V CoolSiC MOSFETs, 2000V CoolSiC MOSFETs and gate drivers are on display. With its superior performance of high power density, this product can reduce losses by 50% and provide approximately 2% additional energy without increasing the battery size, which is particularly beneficial for high-performance, lightweight and compact energy storage solutions. It can be used in industrial energy storage.
The global optical storage system (PV-ES) market has witnessed rapid growth in recent years. The competition of optical storage market is accelerating, and the key to win is to improve the power density. How energy storage applications improve efficiency and power density has attracted much attention.
